A Jewish wedding – hm that’s crazy isn’t it? It was AWESOME!
The reception started at 7:30pm in a large hall with nice decoration and a huge buffet– the best! Where else do you get Sushi on a wedding?!
The ceremony itself started at 9pm.
The wedding itself is under a chuppah (canopy), a symbol of the home that the new couple will build together. It is open on all sides. In the ceremony she got the ring and they signed their wedding contract, … afterwards they broke glass and had seven blessings (read by the family, friends and the rabbi)… but more details of a Jewish wedding here: Guide to the Jewish Wedding.
You can see the woman to the left and the men to the right:
Afterwards there was a delicious five course menu and everybody had fun.
You can see the same separation on the dance floor. But they took the wall away after a couple of minutes
. You can see it on the following picture (white colored).
… and Dovi sang for his wife – sababba – really good.
Nice experience! Great Evening! Mazel tov!
